When you upload your file, it’s usually in sRGB color mode — the same one used by your computer, phone, or camera screen. Screens use light (RGB: Red, Green, Blue) to show colors, which makes them look bright and vibrant.
Our printers use ink (CMYK: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) to reproduce colors on paper. Since inks and screens use different color systems, some colors that look bright or glowing on screen (especially neon or very saturated tones) can’t be printed exactly the same way. The printer will automatically adjust those colors to the closest possible match in CMYK.
This is a normal part of the printing process — and our team always ensures your photos are optimized for the best balance between screen and print results.
In short:
- What you see on your screen (sRGB) = colors made with light.
- What we print (CMYK) = colors made with ink.
- Slight variation is expected, but we do our best to make it look as close as possible.
