Your Digital Photos vs. Printed Images
Your digital photos will always look different from how they appear when printed on paper.
There are obvious differences between your physical photobook and its digital version—the weight, the sensation of turning the pages. But it's also important to know that the way your photos look will change once they’re printed in a photo book.
The Difference Between Screen and Print
The primary difference between "on-screen" and "in-print" images is exactly that—lighting. Every digital screen has a built-in light source that shines through pixels, making images appear brighter and more detailed. However, once your images are printed, they lose this artificial backlighting. As a result, shadows may appear darker, and subtle details may become less visible.
Differences in Print Formats
Printed images often appear different from their digital versions, and the print format you choose plays a key role in the final look. The type of paper influences the warmth, texture, and overall finish of your photos, enhancing the storytelling experience.
