Photos on your gifts may appear less sharp or slightly different in color compared to your screen due to the nature of the sublimation printing process.
Sublimation uses heat to transfer ink into the surface of the product (such as mugs, fabrics, or metal), rather than printing directly onto a flat paper surface. Because of this:
- The ink becomes part of the material, which can slightly soften fine details compared to digital screen previews.
- Heat and pressure during the transfer process may cause minor variations in sharpness and color tone.
- Unlike paper printing, which sits on a smooth coated surface, sublimation printing depends on how the material absorbs the ink, which can affect overall crispness.
Additionally, screen images are displayed using backlit RGB colors, which often appear brighter and more vibrant than physically printed CMYK outputs.
For best results, we recommend using high-resolution images to ensure the clearest possible print outcome on your final product.
