The Magic Mug has a heat-sensitive black coating applied over a white ceramic base. When it is cold, the mug will appear completely black with no visible image.
Your photo will only appear once the mug is heated—such as when you pour in a hot drink or hot water—causing the coating to become transparent and reveal the printed image underneath.
