My project is missing! How do I recover it?

To recover a missing project, such as one named “Trip to London”, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Photobook Designer Projects folder:

   • Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Photobook Designer Projects
   • Mac: MAC HD | Users | <your username> | Photobook Designer Projects

2. Find your project: Look for the project file ending with “Trip to London.prj”. Inside the folder, you should see a History subfolder.

3. Restore your project:

   • Open the History folder.
   • Copy the latest backup file.
   • Paste it into your “Trip to London.prj” folder.
   • Rename the backup file to “Trip to London.prj”.

4. Open the project: Launch the program and select Open Existing Project to check if you can now access your project.

Note: Avoid naming your projects with words containing “temp” (e.g., Temple, Tempo, or temporary). Projects with these words in their names will not be saved.
