To recover a missing project, such as one named “Trip to London”, follow these steps:
Locate the Photobook Designer Projects folder:
- Windows:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Photobook Designer Projects
- Mac:
MAC HD | Users | <your username> | Photobook Designer Projects
- Windows:
Find your project: Look for the project file ending with “Trip to London.prj”. Inside the folder, you should see a History subfolder.
Restore your project:
- Open the History folder.
- Copy the latest backup file.
- Paste it into your “Trip to London.prj” folder.
- Rename the backup file to “Trip to London.prj”.
Open the project: Launch the program and select Open Existing Project to check if you can now access your project.
Note: Avoid naming your projects with words containing “temp” (e.g., Temple, Tempo, or temporary). Projects with these words in their names will not be saved.
