My Canva images look blurry in my Photobook. How can I fix this?

To ensure high-quality printing, here’s a clear step-by-step guide for Canva Photobooks to get high-res (300 DPI) JPGs so images won’t be blurry:

Step 1: Set the correct page size

  • Check the final size of your Photobook (e.g., 8×10 inches).

  • In Canva, go to File → Resize (if available) or set custom dimensions when creating the design.

  • Multiply inches by 300 to get pixels:

    • 8 × 300 = 2400 px

    • 10 × 300 = 3000 px

  • Make sure each page matches these pixel dimensions or larger.

Step 2: Download as high-quality JPG

  1. Click Share → Download.

  2. Choose JPG as the file type.

  3. Under Size, select High Quality.

  4. Click Download.

Tip: Do not resize your images smaller after downloading, this will reduce quality.

Step 3: Use in the Designer

  • Import the downloaded JPGs into the Designer

  • Zooming in should no longer make them appear blurry, as the images are at print-ready resolution.

Note: Some features, such as high-resolution downloads or custom page sizes, are available only with Canva Pro
