Here's how to remove a debit or credit card:
1. Go to the PayPal website and log into your account using your email address and password.
2. Find your card: In the "Wallet" section, you'll see a list of your linked payment methods (debit/credit cards, bank accounts, etc.).
3. Select the card you want to remove: Click on the card you wish to remove.
4. Confirm the removal: PayPal will prompt you to confirm that you want to remove the card. Click "Yes" to confirm.
Additional guides to take note:
1. You cannot remove a card if you have a pending transaction or if your card was the backup payment method for a recent instant bank payment. Please wait for a few days and try again.
2. You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.
3. If you remove your only card and have a confirmed bank account, you’ll no longer be able to make instant bank payments. Instead, they’ll be sent as eChecks, which will take 3 to 4 working days to process.
