I can’t download Photobook Designer. What’s the problem?

Your Windows firewall have prevented/interfered with the download. Many Windows users have two firewalls: a network (hardware-based) firewall and a Windows (software-based) firewall. The network firewall will still protect your computer and network even when your Windows firewall is disabled.

You might want to download from home or another location if you are downloading from your office. Reason being is that there is possibility that it’s a network firewall that you cannot disable. The Windows Firewall can interfere with an Internet connection shared through a home network router. If such a conflict arises on your Windows computer, you might find that it cannot connect to the Internet through the router.

To safely disable the Windows firewall, follow these instructions:

1. Click on Windows Start Menu and select the Control Panel
2. From the Control Panel select Security
3. From the Security page select Windows Firewall
4. Turn the firewall to Off and press OK

For smoother downloading process, you may want to also temporarily disable your anti-virus software when you download and install Photobook Designer.

After your download is complete, follow the previously listed steps to reactivate the firewall by turning it back to On.
