Cropping is achieved by combining zooming in and out of the photo within the image placeholder, adjusting the placeholder's dimensions, and repositioning a zoomed-out image to display the desired parts within the placeholder.
Firstly, if you wish to display your entire photo within the placeholder, select the image and then choose the 'Fit the image within the image placeholder' option. This will ensure the image is fully visible on the page. 
To crop a photo within a placeholder, click the arrow icon in the center of the photo.
Then move the image as per your preference until the unshaded part of the placeholder shows what you want to be printed

Double-click your picture box to access the Crop Tool. You can reposition and resize your cropped image using the toggle in the bottom-right corner.
